Changelog
Early 2026
Section titled “Early 2026”Update
Section titled “Update”Changed
Section titled “Changed”- Solar forecast — The Forecast.Solar “clear-sky” comparison card is temporarily removed; the main forecast view is unchanged, and the comparison may return in a future update.

- Dashboard — Smoother day and range handling, clearer date field formatting, and day navigation that’s easier to see and use.
- Device details — Simpler layout with less noise when you open a device.
- Charts — Wording for solar-at-home and self-consumption stats is easier to read at a glance.
iOS 3.2.0
Section titled “iOS 3.2.0”- Tips — Support the app from the sidebar with new tip options.
Update
Section titled “Update”- Solar forecast — Generation forecasts using Forecast.Solar, including setup for your site, confidence bands, hourly views (bar or graph), and optional overlay of today’s actual generation.
- Inverter scheduler — View and monitor your schedule, with onboarding and status when something needs attention.
- Lifetime history — Browse long-term data with a dedicated range and year-by-year loading tuned to your inverter’s limits.
- Email reports — Daily, weekly, and monthly summaries are easier to read at a glance.
Changed
Section titled “Changed”- Dashboard & device views — Day view, improved date navigation (including yesterday), loading skeletons, smoother charts and scrolling, and a more stable device tab (less flicker).
- Energy flow — Clearer power source status (solar, battery, grid, import) and updated wording (“Importing from grid” instead of older labels).
- Fox Cloud — Clearer messages when the service is rate-limited or returns errors; forecast data refreshes when you open the forecast section.
- Solar forecasting — Solcast rate limits are handled more gracefully when the service is busy.
- Feedback — Timeouts and validation so submissions are more reliable.
iOS 3.1.0
Section titled “iOS 3.1.0”Changed
Section titled “Changed”- Fox Sign-in flows use an updated in-app browser path so returning to the app after authentication should be more reliable.
- Bottom tab bar stays on top and recovers more cleanly after in-app browser sheets or other system UI.
- App icon notification badge clears when you open the app, so the count does not linger after you have caught up.
- Email magic-link sign-in is less likely to lose your progress if you switch away from the app before finishing.
iOS 3.0.0
Section titled “iOS 3.0.0”- Native-style bottom tabs with clearer navigation and support for tab badges where the app uses them.
Changed
Section titled “Changed”- New native shell around the dashboard so the iOS app can stay aligned with the web app more smoothly over time.
- Automatic app updates for new versions are now available for iOS devices running version 3.0.0 or later.
iOS 2.4.6
Section titled “iOS 2.4.6”- Rare blank dashboard after load — if the page reports success but nothing renders, the app reloads automatically so you are not stuck on an empty screen.
- Smarter recovery when the in-app browser engine restarts (for example under memory pressure), including a fresh start when no page had committed yet.
Changed
Section titled “Changed”- Push notification token and message delivery to the app waits and retries until the dashboard is ready, so the web app is less likely to miss those events.
- Google sign-in picks the key window more reliably when multiple app windows are in use.
iOS 2.4.4
Section titled “iOS 2.4.4”- Live Activity now includes today’s home consumption for a fuller picture of your day.
Changed
Section titled “Changed”- Refreshed Live Activity design for clearer, more readable energy stats on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.
iOS 2.4.3
Section titled “iOS 2.4.3”Changed
Section titled “Changed”- Dynamic Island (expanded) now includes battery power details for quicker at-a-glance status.
- Live Activity no longer gets stuck showing “Updating…” when you reopen the app.
- Live Activity won’t restart after it has ended (for example, when solar production drops to zero).
- Widgets and Live Activity behave more reliably during brief data staleness, continuing to show your last known values.
- Today view refreshes more reliably when you return to the iOS app, so current data updates more consistently.
